Maarten Jacobus Postma is Professor of Pharmacoeconomics at the University of Groningen, Department of Pharmacy, specializing in pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics. He leads research focused on the cost-effectiveness of vaccinations and related methodological issues, supervising multiple PhD, postdoctoral, and MSc researchers. Professor Postma serves as President of the Public Health Economics section of EUPHA, sits on several editorial boards and scientific advisory boards, and advises the Dutch government on drug and vaccine reimbursement. He has authored over 120 MEDLINE-indexed publications.
